It’s no wonder Barry Lyndon is considered one of Kubrick’s greatest works. The stages upon which he casts this story portray the periods gilded beauty perfectly, while still breathing a haunting atmosphere into a time far gone.
Kubrick is all over my dashboard this evening, and I am certainly not complaining!
